Mezuzah Placement

Mezuzah 1Do you need help with checking or placing Mezuzot on your doorposts?
We are happy to offer assistance and guidance related to all aspects of Mezuzot.

Mezuzot should be checked twice every seven years to see if they have been affected by adverse weather conditions, or by folding (which can cause cracks in the letters), or if any other defect has occurred. It is preferable to check Mezuzot which are on the outside of a building more often, due to their vulnerability to the elements.

Chabad of Windsor Terrace offers assistance with Mezuzah purchasing, placement andchecking. Contact our office at info@JewishWindsorTerrace.com for more information.

It’s not a Jewish doorbell. It’s a home security device called a mezuzah. The software inside this gadget is a scroll with the words beginning, “Hear O Israel, the L‑rd is our G‑d; the L‑rd is one” . . .
Where on the Doorpost Do I Place the Mezuzah?
The mezuzah is affixed on the right-hand side of the door as you enter. It is positioned on an angle, with the top of the mezuzah pointing toward the inside of the room . . .
